PBIS Rotation Day

All students and staff participated in PBIS rotations today.  Students followed a rotation where they were reminded of what the expectations are in different areas of the school including: the blacktop during dismissal, the cafeteria, the gym, the playground, the bathrooms, and the hallways.  Students and staff discussed what SOAR behavior looks like in each of those places.  SOAR stands for:

Safety First

Observe the Expectations

Always Be Kind

Respect Yourself and Others

Driggs school will show SOAR behavior each and everyday!

A HUGE thank you to Costco for donating backpacks to Driggs School.  All students were given a backpack for the 2014-2015 school year!  Thank you Costco!

Arrivals and Dismissals

No students are to arrive to school before 7:35am.  Dismissal is at 2:20pm.  Please refrain from picking up your child early.  It is disruptive to the learning process.  If you are changing your dismissal procedure, a note is required.  Phone requests will not be allowed.  This is for your child's safety.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Book Fair - September 10-18 in the school library

Open House - September 17 from 5-7PM (Early Dismissal for Students)
